Lumber River Football Club was founded in 2014.  Recently, LRFC was formed by merger of two clubs (North Robeson Football Club and Pembroke Soccer Association) as a result of local soccer coaches and leaders joining together to provide a larger soccer platform for the players of our communities and county.

LRFC is a 501 (c)(3) non-profit organization that seeks to provide soccer programming for boys and girls ages 6-18 in the greater Robeson County area and beyond.

LRFC was formed by members of the community with the purpose of providing quality soccer programming to boys and girls within the community between the ages of 6-18. LRFC offers both boys and girls recreation soccer programs, summer camps, and travel soccer opportunities for chidren in the U15 and U18 age groups.

Through various programs, LRFC has affected the lives of over 500 children to date and currently offers recreation soccer programming, as well as travel team soccer opportunities for players looking for elite level competition.

LRFC continues to work in a charitable fashion to help ensure that all children in our area are afforded the opportunity to play the beautiful game at a reasonable price through our sponsorships with local and regional businesses.  We are constantly looking to grow the game in our area and give back to our community by helping to build strong and talented individuals that will continue to be great members of our society through their experiences within our program.
